#5

This article was an easy read for me. This article said that Shutterfly, and its free team website is not secure for sharing information and is actually not protected by SSL software.  Also, this article had a video pictured to show how easy it would be for hackers to get on a persons account, view their information, and download it to their computer.
I enjoyed reading this article, because I found it very alarming that parents could be a part of a website without ensuring that the security they claim to have is actually there. I found it very interesting also that an entire organization like the American Youth Soccer Organization would endorse a website without knowing that it was protected.  If what this article says is true, then these parents are giving people access to where they are and where their children are at any given time. I will say that it I have looked up the credibility of the website this article is on, Mother Jones and I can't find anywhere that gives this website a wonderful review. According to debate.org., this website has very good journalism, but it is very agenda based. If this is true, I would say that before I used a site like Shutterfly I would have to do more research about it.
